Prof. Dr. Michael P. Wistuba Full Professor at TU Braunschweig in the field of Pavement Engineering Michael P. Wistuba is head of chair of the Braunschweig Pavement Engineering Centre at Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany. He has acted in numerous consulting projects in pavement engineering including federal highways in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other states in Europe and abroad. He is president of the European Asphalt Technology Association (EATA), scientific board member of Deutsches Asphaltinstitut (DAI), member of the German Road and Transportation Research Association (FGSV), and scientific board member of the Swiss Expert Association for Road and Transport Engineering (VSS). He has been Convenor (2018-2020), Expert (2016-2018, and 2020-2025) of RILEM Cluster F on bituminous materials and polymers, and RILEM Fellow since 2023. In 2017, he was awarded the Prize of the Construction Industry Association of Lower-Saxony and Bremen for his significant contributions to technology transfer from science to application in the pavement industry sector. Prof. Dr. Gordon Airey Professor of Pavement Engineering Materials, University of Nottingham Gordon Airey is Director of the Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC) and Professor of Pavement Engineering Materials at the University of Nottingham. He has served as President of the European Asphalt Technology Association (EATA) and a Director of the Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL). Gordon is currently Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors of the International Society for Asphalt Pavements (ISAP) and Chair of the International Committee of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (AAPT). |
